Small Japanese Tea Crate

We absolutely love these vintage Japanese tea crates from the 1920s. Lift the lid to reveal storage inside. The crate is lined with tin. This crate is a little different to the others because it has labels on each side, normally they’re just on the ends. We have a couple in our house, one is a coffee table and houses all our games and puzzles and the other is a bedside table in our youngest daughters bedroom. Great storage potential and very cool to look at! The crates could also be used for filing. If you look at the final picture you will see a birch ply hanging rail which can be used to hang admin folders. Please note that this is a vintage item which has been used and loved and therefore shows some sign of wear.
