This card allowed me to add Firewire to a 6 year old PC running Windows XP. Installation was a snap and the OS noticed the card instantly. I was able to capture 25 Mini-DV tapes from my older Sony camcorder without a hitch. At 13GB per tape, that equals 325GB of video I’ve streamed through this card with any issues.Great card for a great price!
