6287 Never-Go-Flat Portable Generator Wheel Kit with Foldaway Handle and Assembly Hardware, 8-Inch,Black

In 2002 I had purchased a Coleman™ Powermate™ 3,000KW with B&G engine portable generator due to a power outage when we lived in a home with natural gas for the furnace, water heater, and stove. However, once we moved into an all electric home, in 2010 I had to purchase a much larger Generac™ model. Nevertheless, I still use the Coleman™ in my workshop and garage if the power goes out. It powers two 20 amp circuits allowing my garage doors to open and close as well as powering my electric tools. In any event, it was getting heavier each year. LOL Consequently, when I found the PowerBoss™ 6287 Wheel Kit on Amazon™ just this winter, I was delighted. The reviews section on the website showed that it will fit a square tubing frame! For me, having to drill a few holes with titanium bits 1/8″ pilot hole and 3/8″ finish was no biggie. I just had to do accurate measurements to align everything. 13mm wrenches for the wheels and 12mm wrenches for the feet and handle worked fine during assembly. Although it doesn’t sit level, putting a 1″ flat board under the feet levels it up. Another advantage to having this wheel kit is that I can wheel it into the woods on my property to power brush and limb cutting tools. I used to have to heft it into my dump cart and drive it into the woods with my John Deere™ riding mower. So far, in sub freezing weather, the wheels are holding up well. [...]
